Sean McLaughlin, also known as Sigma, has won United-TI's first Assembly contest. The subject of the contest was the arcade game Asteroid belt. Sigma got the highest score of all the contestants (the other contestants were me, tr1p1ea and Madskillz). Sigma has won a brand new shiny TI-84+SE.

Another Petition!

Andy Janata is being _not_very_nice_ lately, so me and Kevin decided to make a petition as 'peaceful protest' against his behaviour. Andy bashed KermMartian and Kevin, and is yelling at everyone. He probably thinks he can do everything just because he's staff at the forum where he posted that (calcgames.org).

Anti Hays Games Petition

I didn't know about them, but according to people like Kerm Martian, haysgames is a company of software stealers. Yesterday, they returned, making a lot of people angry. Because of that, the Hays Games staff issued an 'ultimatum towards the community:
If you can organize and submit to us by this Friday (July 8th), a petition containing over 100 individual and unique signatures stating that you wish for Hays to leave the Ti-Community, then we will do so for good with no questions asked.

Not long after that, Hays realised that there'd probably be way more than 100 signatures on Friday. This was their response:
We really didn't think we were this disliked, all we were trying to do was provide some entertainment for the community. But we will stick to our word. If the 100 mark is reached by Friday, which it appears it will, we will leave peacefully and for good. If it reaches 200 by Friday, we will personally contact the ticalc.org staff and request our files be removed from their archives. If it hits 300, we will reveal the entire truth and history of the Hays Games Company to the community, the behind the scenes stuff on what really happened, with 100% honesty. Good luck.

While this is being written, the petition has 91 signatures. Help the community getting 100 of them or more, and sign it to stop software stealers. You can find the petition here.

New Pi record

A Japanese dude recited Pi to 83,431 digits from memory. It took Akira Haraguchi, that's his name, 13 hours to do this. He actually almost doubled the old record of reciting Pi, that was 42,195, set by another Japanese dude in 1995.
Haraguchi recited 54,000 digits last year, but he didn't manage to do it within the time limit, so that didn't count.

why the party friday sucked

I've been to a party on friday. I don't go to parties that often, so i thought i might as well go for a change. Bad idea? Listen to this:

First, it was a school-party. Second, the whole school was invited. Including freshmen. Actually, it was almost only freshmen at that party -_-'. So they were boring people everywhere, but was that everything?

You wish...The DJ sucked ass too. He was playing the same freakin trance beat for 15 minutes all the time cuz he was looking for a cd with even more crappy trance beats. But since it was a school party, he also had to play even crappier music, like the Crazy Frog (if you don't know what that is.. lucky you).

But a party with sucky people and sucky music can be incredibly fun, if there just is a hell of a lot of beer. Guess what... Yes, they did sell beer, but they charged €2,20 for 1 plastic glass of crappy beer, that tasted like canal water.

But i had a good time anyway, some of my friends were there and i didn't do stupid stuff, like:
-I didn't get awfully drunk and fall asleep in my own puke
-I didn't get in trouble for making out with a drunk girl that already have a boyfriend
-I didn't get high
-Ekcetera..

Fingertips

A while ago, some flash artists decided to go work together on a flash project, in the animutation style. This is the result.
Fingertips uses short sound clips as music, and every animator made his own piece, some made more than one. Among the animators are famous animutation people like Andrew Kepple and Neil Cicireiga. Well, just go see it right away! And don't be surprised if it's a bit weird, that's because it's animutation :-).
